Many of you will know me as Om Mata Massage but it was time for a change. After never going down a yoga path with my work I’ve been uncomfortable using a name from eastern traditions. As my own massage practice has grown I’m becoming more rooted in the native traditions of this little island. Grounded more in our nature and our ancient link to the land. So it’s time for a new look and a new name to go with the new space.
Awen means Inspiration in Old English and Welsh and is linked to some of my studies which influence my practise. I’ll tell you more about that if you ask… Most importantly its true to me and my ancestors in this life.
